Pit-stop in Kuala Lumpur

Our brief pit-stops back home are always chaotic, fun and tiring. I go from feeling healthy, slightly obese but nourished, to having bags, a snotty nose and a sore throat. Everything inbetween is so worth it though – seeing my great friend DJ for the first time evoked pride and excitement. Spending a few incredibly passionate days with my boyfriend, the few days apart allowing for our time together to be appreciated and enjoyed to its fullest. Though quality over quantity of time is always more preferable, when you’re an international student and everyone’s dispersing to different corners of the globe for university or travels, saying goodbye to them is essential. Or ‘see you soon’ as was the phrase we’d all decided on due to the increasingly shrinking world we’re all living in. The time rushed by and goodbye coffee, shisha and drinking sessions were all achieved, the bittersweet energy being hard to handle but necessary.
